- RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication
- RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, including major news sites like Wired, news-oriented community sites like Slashdot, and personal weblogs.

- To access an RSS feed in a readable format, you need an RSS reader/aggregator.
- There are two main ways to use an RSS aggregator:
- a client-based application
- a plug-in for your browser
- Readers for Windows/Linux/Mac clients, many of them freeware can be found with a simple Google Search.
- We highly recommend RSS Bandit which is open source, runs on Windows, and is completely free for personal and corporate use.
- There are RSS extensions for the excellent (and secure) Firefox Web browser; there are also several RSS toolbars/sidebars available for Internet Explorer.
- The RoHS-news.com RSS feed is supplied in RSS version 2.0 format (your reader software may ask for this information)
- Once you have selected an RSS reader, the address to the RoHS-news.com RSS feed is: http://www.rohs-news.com/rohs.xml
